Women working and studying in the creative, digital and technology sectors have another chance to get together at the third 'Girl Geek Dinner - South Yorkshire' on Thursday October 13th.

One of many successful Girl Geek Dinners held across the UK and beyond, this regional event is is organised by Creative Barnsley and will be held at the Digital Media Centre (DMC) in Barnsley town centre.

You are invited to come along, meet other like-minded professionals and enthusiasts and listen to our fabulous speakers and performers including:

• Linda Cheung - Chief Executive of www.cubesocial.com - an innovative software development company dedicated to helping clients win new business through effective use of social media.

• Kate Sicchio - choreographer, media artist and performer who combines dance with installations, web and video projects. 

The event will commence at 6pm with welcome drinks, followed by a couple of brief presentations by local young entrepeneurs and then dinner. Our special guests will then talk and perform over coffee and there will be plenty of time for round-the-table networking throughout.

This event is supported by Enterprising Barsnley and places are FREE however we reserve the right to charge an administration fee for tickets booked but 'don't show'. If you book a ticket please let us know if you are unable to attend. This will be the last time we can organise this type of event without a price attached to the ticket.
